Venom Snake Gaiters, Black

Cool, lightweight, and flexible, these snake gaiters are built with four layers of high-resistance polyamide and feature a polycarbonate armor insert to provide added protection. The gaiters are designed to allow air circulation between your leg and the gaiter for superior comfort. The ultra guard stitching is highly resistant to cuts and abrasions, and the Velcro® closure system ensures a snug fit. Washable in cold water using neutral soap. Gaiters fit relatively well. Adjustable straps rather than velcro would probably work better. The gaiters tend to twist on your legs and the shoe flaps end up on one side or the other of your foot. They are fairly comfortable in hot weather. Pretty good product for the price.

After wearing my company's cheap gaiters I bought these for myself. I wanted gaiters that (1) secured to my boots and would not spin or rise up (2) not weigh a ton or be too hot (3) have the extra foot and knee flaps if I wanted them. These are great and I like that they come in safety orange since I have to wear PPE for the job anyway. My only complaint is they're not adjustable so they somewhat rattle around my skinny legs.

I purchased a pair last year and like them very much. They are as comfortable as expected but do make your calf sweat a little in the heat. Also nice to wear when weed eating in rocky areas. The straps that go under the boot don't last long but found them not necessary anyway, the Velcro holds the gaiter in place very well. I also like having the boot and knee flaps for added protection. Very durable.

I was so excited to receive my order but disappointed that it is not a snug fit once my calf ends. The flap overlaps and misses the velcro at the bottom. I wish I could attach a photo so ya'll could see the problem. Local outdoor stores only carry camo or the hard plastic so I probably will not return my order. My suggestion is the velcro strip should be a tad bit wider as it goes towards your ankle so there isn't any overlapping.
